When I Think About Stripper Chicks, I Naturally Think Of Mason City

So there had been a proposal made by occasionally combative Councilman (and future Santa Claus lookalike) Max Weaver in Mason City about possibly locating strip clubs in the downtown area, but in the end the council voted against the idea 6-0, including Weaver.

Mason City does have areas zoned where strip clubs could be located, but Weaver floated the idea specifically as a way to spur downtown redevelopment, an idea which got the god-fearing and sex-fearing types all upset.

Maybe the Iowa Supreme Court could look into the matter.  Perhaps they could find something in the state constitution that allows buildings containing naked chicks licking stripper poles in a downtown location.  I'm sure it's in the state constitution.  It's right next to the part about gay marriage, sanctuary cities, and forced unionization.
