Here's How Clueless Liberals Are

We're never going to hear the end of it in the Des Moines Register concerning the removal of the three Iowa Supreme Court Justices who voted in favor of creating law to establish gay marriage in Iowa so as to provide political cover for chicken Democrats in the Legislature who were too afraid to take an up-or-down vote on the matter.

And so it is that the Register pumped out another story about how anti-gay marriage groups in other states might attempt similar measures.

Liberals, because they're kind of slow and stupid and clueless, consider such redress maneuvers by The People as "politicizing the courts", which is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.

Liberals put their hands over their ears and shout "LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA!!!!!" whenever you try to point out that the Iowa Judicial Nominating Committee is comprised of 86% verified Democrats and 7% verified Republicans.

Hey liberals, is that sort of unfairness in the nominating process causing the politicization of the courts, or what?

You see, with libs, everything that goes in their favor is perfectly OK and legal. Anything that doesn't go their way, well, they stamp their feet, talk bullshit about how Iowans are now heathens who are probably going to bring back slavery, take away the right of women to vote, and so forth (...and yes, these are things I have read by actual Far Lefties following the retention vote...). Their whole world collapses because they don't get their way. They're like goddamned 4 year olds throwing a temper tantrum in the store because you didn't buy them every thing in the candy aisle. Am I right?

I should quantify my comments here. I am in favor of gay marriage (and I have said this for a long time), if that is what The People of the state want. But we didn't get that. We got that garbled court ruling issued by a bunch of party hacks who bought their seats.

And I must say that I am annoyed with the Christian-Right groups who spearheaded the ouster only because they didn't suggest all the other judges who should be bounced out of their robes. I'm sure we can easily nitpick through cases at the Appellate and Trial court levels where hardened criminals get repeated slaps on the wrists, or juveniles who achieve probation after probation after suspended sentence.

So don't think that I'm a knee-jerk right-winger who is prepared to get up in your ass about sodomy laws. I'm not.

First thing that Terry Branstad should ask for after all the drunks get together under the gold dome is a law that equalizes the political affiliations of the Iowa Judicial Nomination Commission.
