Former judge Gary Blodgett has an excellent recap of the election tsunami of 2010 in the Mason City Glob Gazette. It's a well-written, sober analysis.
Just the other day I was complaining about how there seemed to be nothing but left-wing columnists at newspapers around Iowa. While this is just an op-ed, and Blodgett is a Republican, he ought to be writing something every week for the Globe Gazette. Maybe I have just missed his work over the years, but this is good stuff. Much better than my foul-mouthed hackery.
