A Resolution Honoring Actress Annette Bening

From WOI-TV:
Hollywood actress Annette Bening - famous for her roles in "The Grifters" and "Being Julia" - now has another honor to her name.

The Iowa Senate today approved a resolution noting Bening's Iowa connections, as slender as they might be.

Although the actress was born in Topeka, her parents lived in La Porte City and met while attending the University of Northern Iowa. The couple's first two children were born in Waterloo, but Bening was born after the family moved to Kansas.

State Senator Pat Ward of West Des Moines says today's action was appropriate given that Bening still has many family members living in Iowa.
I still live in Iowa. How about a Senate Resolution honoring me some time?

Here it is, Senate Resolution 45.

Maybe next week they can pass a resolution honoring "Dude, Where's My Car?" star, Demi Moore squire, and Cedar Rapids/Homestead native Ashton Kutcher.

Dude, where's her implants?
