When Spinning Rims Are Outlawed, Only Outlaws Will Have Spinning Rims
How about the legislator in the Iowa Legislature who wants to ban those spinning rims on automobiles?
Even John Carlson at the Des Moines Register thinks the legislation is nutty. More on this at the Omaha World-Herald.
At least the spinning rims don't vibrate.

Maybe you could elect me and I'd introduce legislation banning vinyl tops on cars. I'm sure somebody would come out saying that you can't legislate bad taste:
Or I could do something about the wing problem:
Or the wing, flames, nostril, and longhorn problem:
Or, uh, er, this:
Or maybe I'd annoy everybody in Iowa and bring back vehicle inspections:
Mostly, I'd want to provide appropriate transportation for every Iowan so things like this will never occur again:
